EXIST: sEXism Identification in Social neTworks 2025

The EXIST campaign promotes research on the automatic identification of sexism in social networks in a broad sense. The fifth edition of EXIST, within the framework of CLEF 2025, consists of three tasks applied to text, image, and video (TikTok) formats: sexism identification, categorization of forms of sexism, and identification of the author’s intent. For this edition, new training and test data are provided under the Learning With Disagreement (LeWiDi) paradigm to capture diverse perspectives in annotations and develop fair multimodal systems capable of learning from different interpretations of the phenomenon of sexism in social networks.
